I’ve watched a lot of television this weekend.
It must be winter.
And every time I saw the HBO logo animation before the start of an original series or movie, I was reminded of Six Feet Under.
It was one of the first and the best. That familiar static signals the beginning of the quality TV we’ve come to expect.
But the Showtime bumper?
The audio is always SO loud compared to the programming before or after. It screams for our attention. I’m annoyed before the shows even start!
(Sorry, True Detective — I’ll try not to hold it against you.)
